Papers and publications relating to Dr Webb’s human rights advocacy work in Burma and elsewhere in the region. The collection includes newsletters, magazines, reports, and emails from refugee and human rights electronic mailing lists.
The Rev Dr Webb (1932-2012), Southeast Asian historian, taught at the Northern Territory University from 1987 after completing his doctorate at James Cook University, and was founding Director of the Centre for Southeast Asian Studies. As a human rights advocate he focused on the plight of Burmese refugees and the Cambodian boat people.
